The DRV8825 is a complete microstepping motor driver with built-in encoder.
This module can be like the A4988 driver to 1, 1/2, 1/4, 1/8 and 1/16 step mode works, but is also likely to take steps of 1/32.
The driver may be a bipolar stepper motor with a rating of 35V and ± 2.5A managing and working with I/O's of both 3.3V and 5V.
This module has the same layout as that of the A4988 and is therefore interchangeable or replaceable (please note the polarity! The potentiometer is in this design on the other side as the A4988).
